Maria DeAngelo is currently one of our Artist and Residence. She is an artist and educator who has taught and created for the greater part of her life. She has a BFA from Alfred University NYS College of Ceramics at Alfred University and an MSEd from Potsdam College. Maria’s curiosity has led her to explore materials to create fanciful works. DeAngelo plans to use her residence to focus on acrylics while encouraging others through painting and discovery of new techniques. Her personal painting goals include exploring acrylic techniques in abstraction and furthering her work with color.
