Ash Bonez
Ash Bonez (Matthew Grandy) started drawing houses when the Covid-19 pandemic first began. Originally, they were merely just little doodles, but then he began to see the house-shaped structures as a symbol of safe haven since this is where we were all told to stay. Ash was also working in a house that wasn’t his own when he drew the first home and you get a much different perspective on life when you are watching someone else live it in a place that doesn’t belong to you. Sometimes he felt safe, but then there were days when he didn’t. He needed to connect to a universe where he knew he was in control of the chaos as well as being its master. Ash Bonez believes the places and the extraterrestrial life illustrated to be actual places that exist within our universe.
Ash Bonez (Matthew Grandy) is a photographer and visual artist who lives in the state of New York. He received his Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in photography at SUNY New Paltz and is pursuing a passion for photography, painting, and drawing.
