Arlene’s Artist Materials and the R Gallery at Arlene’s requires face coverings for all guests, even if you are vaccinated. You will not be permitted inside the store without a face covering. Face coverings are available at the front counter free of charge. Additionally, face coverings must be worn for the duration of your visit.

 

Mask Requirements

  • CDC guidelines advise that face coverings should reach above the nose, below the chin, and completely cover the mouth and nose, fitting snugly against the sides of the face.

  • To request an accommodation based on a medical condition or disability, please email arlenesartist@gmail.com prior to your visit.

 

The health and safety of all is our priority. Arlene’s will continue to monitor and abide by guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) nd  New York State for health and safety procedures that inform our operations.

 

So that Arlene’s can safely remain open, we require that all guests follow the guidelines outlined below. By visiting in person, you agree to abide by these policies, and Arlene’s reserves the right to ask visitors who do not follow these guidelines to leave the Museum's premises.

Important Additional Guidelines

  • Please stay home if you are feeling sick.

  • All out-of-state visitors must follow all applicable health and safety protocols required by the New York State COVID-19 Travel Advisory which may include quarantine.

  • Physical distancing is required; visitors should stay at least six feet (about two arms' length) from others and from groups.

  • Please do not touch the artwork, frames, platforms, labels, display cases, or anything used to protect the art.

  • Help prevent the spread of germs by washing your hands often with soap and water for at least twenty seconds and by not touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Please cover your cough. Hand sanitizer is also available at the front counter. 

  • An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. We cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during your visit to Arlene’s. Those visiting Arlene’s do so at their own risk of such exposure.

  • Please follow the instructions of Arlene’s staff.
