Arlene's Art Fair 2020 to hold a juried Call for Artists to select participating exhibitors

Arlene's Artist Materials announces our fourth annual Arlene’s Art Fair and we’re now accepting applications for exhibitors. The Fair hosts juried exhibitors from the throughout the Capital Region and surrounding areas. We will invite at least 15 artists, galleries, or art organizations to participate in our celebration of the best in fine art and fine craft that our area has to offer.

The primary focus of the Arlene’s Art Fair is to promote the local creative community and beyond while developing a marketplace where people can purchase uniquely created work. We are looking for exhibitors of any medium or discipline that have a clear voice whether expressed through a traditional medium or something experimental. Arlene's Art Fair with the help of an advisory committee will select all exhibitors for the fair. New this year, Fine Art Collective member and artist Joe McCarthy will be giving a free Winsor and Newton Oil Color Demo. Feeling hungry? Nosh Food Truck has you covered with their delicious array sandwiches and sides. Don't miss Rare Form Brewing Company who will be offering a sampling of their locally made brews.

“We’re excited to support our arts community and create a fun event for people to attend.” said Andrew Ochal, director of the Arlene's Art Fair. “Each year we try to expand on the Art Fair and between all the new things planned, the amazing work of the exhibitors and the  delicious food it's sure a great time for everyone. It’s a true celebration of local art.” The Application Deadline for the Arlene's Art Fair is Saturday, April 25, 2020. The accepted exhibitors will be announced by Saturday, Saturday April 18, 2020. Arlene's Art Fair is on Saturday, August 1st, from 11am to 4pm at Arlene’s Artist Materials. Please go to rgalleryarlenes.com to learn more about the Arlene's Art Fair and to apply.
